Doolally’s email list was shrinking.
In twelve weeks it gained 5,518 subscribers.
Sign-ups all but stopped in October 2024. We moved the list to a new email platform, connected it to OpenTable and rebuilt the sign-up pop-up on the website.

New subscribers each week, after unsubscribes
Shrinking in 2025. Then 5,518 more in twelve weeks.
The problem
A list that had stopped filling.
The list went 482 days without an email, and shrank from 4,428 to 3,958 people in six months.
What we changed
Moved it, connected it, rebuilt the pop-up.
A new email platform connected to OpenTable. A scratch-card pop-up tested head to head over 14 rounds: 99% of new sign-ups came through it. And four automatic follow-ups where there were none: a welcome series, a welcome text, an unfinished-booking reminder and a win-back for lapsed guests.
What happened
A list that fills itself.
7,476 to 12,994 subscribers in twelve weeks, after unsubscribes. 200 of the people who signed up have since booked a table and come in.

The point
A list only grows if something fills it every day.
